This past weekend Nick and worked on our bedroom. Saturday we went to Oneonta and picked up paint and a new bedding set. The paint that we picked out is a dark gray. I still need to pick up white for the trim. It looks SOOOO good already. The bedding set is brown and a tealish blue. We also picked up some new curtains (shiny sea-grass blue). Sunday we headed back to Oneonta to get some carpet for the room. A job that has been well over due. The carpet we picked out is a Berber carpet and straw colored. The whole thing looks REALLY good together. Needless to say this weekend was a long one. We didn't finish the room until about 8pm. Nick installed the carpet himself, and it looks pretty darn good too! He's so handy :). Then we had to move everything back in the room. By the time it was all finished we didn't want to go to work the next morning, but rather stay in the room all day. I know it sounds silly, but it's true. We definitely needed the bedroom makeover; it is now our relaxation place.
I highly recommend giving your bedroom a makeover to make it more soothing, relaxing, and sensual.
