6 Schools Closed + 1 School With A Two Hour Delay = I'm going to work...

It finally looks like we are going to get some snow! I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I just want one big snowstorm and then winter can end. I'm officially saying that winter can end after today, and I'll be ok with it.

Want to know what else is great about big snowstorms?? SNOW DAYS!!

I love my job and am very grateful to have it, but one thing that really stinks about it is that in the winter in order to have any delays or a snow day then ALL the 7 component districts who send their students to us must have at least a delay in order for us to have a delay and vice versa with closing.

So this morning I woke up to the alarm clock and hit the snooze about a bizzillion times, then was woken up by the phone ringing in between my 10 minute snooze intervals. It was the hubba-bub. He was calling to say that he heard on the radio "all" the schools were closed but didn't here DCMO. I said I would check the internet because I haven't done so yet.



 I sign on and this is what I see...

Why? 

Because of this....

 The notorious school for staying open when everyone else closes

 I thought it was important to do some praying to the peer pressure deities in this case. After about 10 minutes of hard praying look what happened....
